Direct Hire opportunity! We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to not only manage a busy office, but to also be the face of the company. An ideal candidate will possess a high degree of professionalism where offering wonderful customer service to external and internal customers will come easily while working within a manufacturing environment. This position entails greeting customers, processing accounts receivable, accounts payable as well as providing
administrative
support to the sales team. Overall, this person will be the go-to person of the company ensuring the office is running smoothly. There is no supervision of others in this role and you will report to the Controller. Hours will be Monday through Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm. Nice pay, as well as benefits! Our client is located in Dane, WI which is only a short drive for anyone living on the north side of Madison.
Responsibilities:
Perform administrative/clerical tasks such as answering the telephone, processing incoming/outgoing mail, greeting customers, and running reports
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable and resolve any discrepancies
Collection of past due accounts
Enter and post cash receipts
Perform data entry such as entering new orders for the sales team
Track employee hours and maintain spreadsheet for payroll to forward onto third party
Qualifications:
Experience working as an Office Manager
Two years experience processing accounts payable and receivables is preferred
Strong leadership and the ability to work independently
Proven experience showcasing strong customer service skills
Basic ability to use MS Office, especially Excel
Experience working with Sage or MAS 90 is preferred, but not required
Candidates who have experience working in a manufacturing environment will be preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
