position is a Great opportunity for the engineer that enjoys selling products to other engineers. These products include controls, sensors, gages that are used in a wide variety of applications and industries. This territory based out of NC will cover the SE (DC, VA, MD, Carolinas). It is an established territory with solid customers. Much of the sales will include presenting new products to current customers with some development of new customers. Customers will include manufacturers, consulting engineers, public works. The field sales engineer will travel approximately 50%, have a company car provided, and be able to work out of their home office.
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:
BS degree in
engineering
3
years experience in technical sales of engineered products (electro/mechanical or electronic)
Experience selling industrial controls
Experience with overnight travel of 30-50%
Desire to exceed sales goalsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
