This
position
is for a hands-on Data Modeler with extensive experience in the database modeling and data management, database configuration, support and maintenance for mission-critical enterprise applications. The position is a part of the team responsible for the database design and implementation activities and level 3 support of a strategic enterprise application with multiple technologies for the corporate bank.
The person will be responsible for database implementation including design, implementation, coordination and support of the database tier, including extensive coordination with the BA, Development and SA and DBA teams. The candidate should have extensive experience supporting multiple database environments with a mix of operating systems, application servers, web servers, single sign-on infrastructure, messaging infrastructure and databases. A successful candidate must be a self-starter and proactively strive for the highest level of environment availability. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of enterprise environment coordination and support experience.
Must Have Technical Skills:
? Expert level proficiency in the Conceptual, Logical and Physical Models, create a logical model from a set of business and/or functional requirements, create a Physical model from a Logical one
? Hand-on experience with Oracle RDBMS (11g is required)
? Perform SQL optimization and tuning - understand cost-based optimizations, how Oracle uses statistics to pick a plan, and the role of analyze and DBMS_STATS to affect the plan chosen
? Understand the role of partitioning including the different types allowed, their purpose, and what it is appropriate and when it isn't
? Read and understand the results of Explain Plan
? Proficiency with PL/SQL and stored procedure development
? Understand PL/SQL including packages and procedures and be able to write and test them
? The Senior Data Modeler should be able to lead requirements gathering sessions and to take the results of the requirements gathering sessions and produce a logical model
? Be able to mentor/lead more junior data modelers
? Can effectively document their design and the design of others
? Read the results of Explain Plan and TKPROF to optimize SQL
? Understand PL/SQL including packages and procedures and be able to write, debug and test them
? Understand the different components in an Oracle installation including RAC, DataGuard, Streams, ASM
? Understand Configuration Management, different types of testing, conceptual knowledge of Data Architecture.
? Understand and implement processes around meta-data to ensure an integrated definition of data for enterprise information, and to ensure the accuracy, validity, and reusability of meta-data.
? Drive development of consistent definitions for common reference data
? Deep understanding of Data Flows and relevant Data Repositories
? Understand and document business data and its uses and retention
? Define and drive new database releases and in-depth analysis of migration impacts.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
