IT - PDM Solutions Center Team has an immediate need for an application DBA to support Raytheon's Common Product Data Management (PDM) system. Primary duties include logical and physical design, management of users, define and document upstream/downstream dependencies, profile and optimize poor performing queries, and production support. Basic Requirements / Skills: - Expert knowledge of data management concepts, practices and procedures - 4 years minimum experience in IT Development / Support - 4 years working with Oracle 10g and later - Experience with Oracle performance tuning, PL/SQL, space management, security and client configuration - Data modeling/Database tools, TOAD and Embarcadero preferred - - Proficiency with UNIX and Windows Operating Systems - Works effectively in a fast paced environment - Works wells with teams and is a self-starter - Creative and effective problem solver - Excellent communication skills Desired Requirements / Skills: - Experience supporting and tuning PTC's Windchill Product Suite - UNIX scripting/Coding background - Knowledge of SOA - Familiar with Data Vault Modeling - Large Implementation/Migration Project Background - Data Modeling and Data Architecture expertise - Enterprise level application support experiance - Experiance creating requrements from cutstomer input Education: BS degree in IT or Engineering Raytheon Company, with 2012 sales of $24 billion and 68,000 employees worldwide, is a technology and innovation leader specializing in defense, homeland security and civil markets throughout the world.
