This individual will be responsible for technical leadership in our manufacturing and business operations, handle capital project engineering / project management and will be responsible for Safety, Quality, Operational Efficiency, improvement methods and cost reduction programs, as we move forward with World Class Operations (WCO) programs and initiatives.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day and long-term technical input to Engineering and Operations leaders on process maintenance and continuous improvement.
Serve as a key technical resource for maintenance and production employees for problem solving and implementation of solutions.
Lead and execute capital projects from concept through feasibility, business justification, detailed engineering, equipment selection, installation, and commissioning to achieve vertical start-up.
Focus on equipment and systems redesign, efficiency improvements, costs savings, and line upgrades
Qualifications :
BS/BA degree in engineering or engineering technology (Mechanical Engineering degree preferred).
Minimum of 5 - 7 years related experience, with at least 2 years in manufacturing or plant engineering.
Proven experience in managing the planning, analysis, submission, approval and execution of expense / capital projects including: cost, schedule, quality, start-up / commissioning and training elements of engineering projects.
Must have good people skills and be team oriented (member/leader), strong technical expertise, and strong conceptual and systematic thinking skills.
Solid
computer
skills with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, e-mail and CAD.
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and have legal right to regular employment in the U.S.
