Senior Principal Systems Engineer - Patriot The Whole Life Engineering Directorate (WLED) is made up of several disciplines whose main objective is to influence hardware and systems early in their life cycle to assure effective operation, reliability, maintainability and economical ownership by the customer and end user. This position can be located in either Andover, MA or Huntsville, AL depending on the requirements of the successful candidate.
Job Description: Provide key support to a broad spectrum of logistics and support growth activities. You will represent the war fighter perspective in support of system support and logistics design, concept development and life cycle cost analysis activities. You will travel domestically and internationally in support of program and organizational needs. You will guide Integrated Air and Missile Defense Strategic Evolutionary Roadmap by internally consulting on: System operational conduct (CONOPS) development Logistics, including training, systems logistic planning and deployment Business Development Technical Support especially in the area of logistics support Strategic and Tactical requirements in support of mission assurance for International users Required Skills: Ten (10) years of related engineering experience Five (5) years of experience with Patriot System functions Five (5) years of Operational Field Experience with the Patriot System Experience with PATRIOT training curriculum Existing secret security clearance Desired Skills: Experience in presenting to senior management and customers Understanding of Air Defense Threat Classifications and Environments Understanding of Air and Missile Defense deployment considerations Leadership Experience Existing Top Secret Clearance Working knowledge of BMC4I and Radar System Operations Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Required Education (including Major): Bachelor's Degree in Science in Engineering, Physics, Math, or Management All these job responsibilities are to be executed in harmony with Raytheon's Code of Business Ethics and Conduct policy which sets the standard by which we operate and how we treat others.
