position
Our Lewiston, ID location is seeking a EICO Specialist to add to our team. This location has a rich history in the community and has been operating for over 50 years. The primary objective of the EICO is to ensure export/import compliance for ATK Commercial Products. Back up and assist International Business
manager
on coordination and administration of International customer service activities.
Responsibilities:
Assist division EICO in the monitoring of the export and import of products to ensure regulatory compliance.
Assist in preparation, review and record keeping of export license application (possibly to include lodging of licenses) and logging license details in license logs.
Draft commerce license applications thru SNAP, keep technical data transfer logs and exemption usage log, provide guidance on all export or import compliance issues as needed, process import paperwork as needed for miscellaneous import requests.
Draft technical assistance agreements, Commodity Jurisdictions, Commodity Classification requests, and Office of Security Review requests as needed.
Responsible for daily record keeping for all technical data and tour licenses, including preparation of initial export letters as required.
Responsible for international travel authorizations and foreign visitor authorizations.
Responsible to audit export shipment files for compliance.
Support compliance training for all locations of ATK Commercial Products Group.
Attend training to stay informed of regulations; minimum annual corporate EICO training plus one additional. Obtain Certification as a compliance officer through the International Import Export Institute.
Assist EICO as needed on research of regulations and tasks as needed; EICO backup as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements:
AA/BS/BA degree in Business or related experience

experience in a Windows environment

1 year experience with international credit/banking
Physical Requirements:

will be sitting the majority of the time, with some walking. Lifting and carrying of weights up to 20 pounds to access books and reports and to transport paperwork and materials. Manual dexterity for extensive computer work and writing. Hearing, speaking and vision are required.
Mental Requirements:
Must communicate effectively in verbal and written formats. Reading comprehension and basic math skills are a requirement. Flexibility to effectively deal with a variety of people and situations and to handle interruptions and multiple tasks simultaneously. Quick thinking and problem solving to readily assimilate information. Ability to maintain tact, diplomacy and highly professional manners. Initiative to effectively complete tasks with little supervision. The ability to identify and appropriately handle confidential information.
