. The highly qualified candidate is a self-starter, has excellent written and verbal communication skills, and works effectively and collaboratively in a team environment. He/she has a strong work ethic and is flexible and adaptable in order to respond to mission critical needs as they arise. The candidate may have direct interaction with customers and must represent the company in a professional manner. The candidate may also generate briefings and must be able to present material clearly to team members, customers, and RAST management as necessary. Required Skills: 4 years or equivalent experience of software development in C/C . Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (i.e. Oral, Written and Listening skills) Demonstrated ability to work effectively on multi-discipline teams Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance Desired Skills: Direct experience in software development on Linux/Unix platforms Experience with Object Oriented design Web development experience interfacing with GIS applications and using several of the following: MySQL, Java, Javascript, OpenGL, AJAX, CSS, Adobe Flash/Flex Builder, ActionScript, Perl/Python/Linux/Unix shell scripting Linux OS system administration skills Experience working in all phases of software development cycle E xperience using software configuration management tools Demonstrated knowledge and experience of network protocols such as TCP/IP Understanding of telecommunications, data communications systems concepts and/or signal processing fundamentals Required Education (including Major): BS CS, CE, EE or equivalent Go further.
