At our sunny Tucson, AZ, location, we are seeking a Principal Systems Engineer (E05) to provide Systems Engineering Leadership for total Systems Engineering life cycle product development and Systems Engineering design expertise for programs in various stages of the product life cycle. The Principal Systems Engineer will work within the Systems Design Center (SDC), which is responsible for the overall technical integrity of the systems being developed, and is the point organization for coordinating GNC; Modeling, Simulation and Analysis; and Signal Processing support where required; the organization often takes the lead on Failure Review Boards, Engineering Review Boards, and other cross discipline engagements. Job Description: The System Engineer is responsible for: leading the effort for requirements development, requirement allocation and flow down, system verification and validation and associated documentation; providing support to the program technical lead to ensure requirements are appropriately factored into all trade studies and design decisions; developing design of experiments based plans to verify improved capability. Provide SE input for Systems Requirements Review (SRR), System Functional Review (SFR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR). Eight (8) years of systems engineering experience involving more than one phase of the product development lifecycle (program planning and controls, system design and development, product integration and verification, production and sustainment). Either concurrent with or in addition to the eight (8) years of systems engineering experience, this role requires two (2) years of technical experience in one or more technical discipline areas: electrical, mechanical, RF, software, EO, GNC, or IR system design Two (2) years of experience in a technical leadership role using communication skills to lead and influence (example: prepared technical briefings and delivered to customers, peers and/or executives.) Desired Skills: Systems Thinker (example: Ability to visualize system functionality, to create block diagrams, and to analyze system performance issues and to define solutions) Ability to perform trade studies to optimize system performance Familiarity with DoD customer infrastructure with respect to command and control, telemetry, flight test, ISR, fixed wing, and/or rotary wing systems Familiarity and interest in model based approaches to system design Control account management (CAM) skills desired, CAM certification preferred. Experience in writing proposals and developing business cases Ability to interact successfully and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams of system and design professionals including electrical, mechanical, software, system performance, and specialty engineers MS or higher in aforementioned disciplines preferred. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
