Senior Cyber Engineer: Mobile Product Development Raytheon Cyber Products has an opening for a Senior Cyber Software Engineer to join our mobile product development team. Current opportunities are for iOS and Android app developers with the ability to also work on server side development on our mobile gateway. The successful candidate will have experience in at least one mobile application development environment, experience writing server side code for a multi-tiered architecture, and experience with broad array of mobile devices. The position will design and develop software for our trusted remote access product, work with security researchers and trusted platform developers to introduce security capabilities into the OS layer, and develop extended capabilities such as secure VoIP over the protected network. This role requires collaboration with product development, product support, and professional
services
teams. Responsibilities Develop client side mobile application code for iOS and/or Android mobile devices Develop server side code for mobile gateway communications Integrate mature mobile security IP developed at other RCP facilities across the US Transition advanced security research results to mature deliverable product Design and implement interoperability features related to sibling access and guard products Ensure highest quality of user experience and functional robustness Support the development of documentation and training materials for professional services team Work with sales and marketing as required to enhance their technical product knowledge Required Experience/Skills Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience Minimum 4-6 years professional experience. Minimum 2 years of directly relevant experience in a software development and/or product development role High level of proficiency in variety of programming languages such as C/C , Java, PYTHON, etc Ability to install, administer, and maintain your own development system and test fixture Experience developing for at least one mobile device platform Understanding of basic
computer
networking concepts Preferred Additional Experience /Skills Prior experience working in a SCRUM environment Experience with or exposure to building the AOSP Understanding of mobile hardware platforms and operating systems Understanding of security related technology Exposure to secure operating systems and trusted systems Experience with a wide variety of mobile devices beyond Android and iOS Knowledge of virtualization techniques and remote redisplay technologies Working knowledge of HTLM/CSS/JQuery/Django or related web UI technologies NOTE: This position will be either a Sr. Cyber Engineer II (E04) or Sr. Cyber Engineer I (E03) depending on the successful candidates experience and other qualifications. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
