Job Description:
Our Client's Homeland Protection Systems department is seeking to hire an embedded software programmer to support surveillance sensor prototyping activities.
The candidate will work with other engineers in teams to develop and test software in support of prototype imaging sensors, signal processors, RF and cellular communications, and power systems. The primary task is to support the software development and test of a prototype incorporating a STM32 ARM Cortex-M4 processor, wireless radio, CMOS imager, embedded cell phone modem, running software handling SPI, I2C, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, DMA.

Qualifications:
Experience implementing and testing embedded software in C is required. Proficiency in embedded software development tools (IDEs) is required, such as Keil uVision, Rowley Crossworks, Eclipse, TI CCS and/or IAR Embedded Workbench is desired. Experience working with USB and desktop digital logic analyzers is required; additional electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, ammeters, signal generators, spectrum and network analyzers is desired.
Version control (SVN or Git) is required; knowledge of agile software development and unit testing is a plus. The successful candidate will have a practical hands-on problem solving approach, be effective at troubleshooting, work well in teams, and be willing to travel and participate in field work. Ability to communicate well in both written and oral fashion is required.
