We are supporting a local retailer where providing great customer service goes beyond the stores. The person in this role will work in partnership with IT and other areas of the Company to develop and support the business systems used to track inventory supply and demand throughout the company.
We need a curious and collaborative technology product manager which will develop, prioritize and communicate the product roadmap. This individual will work closely with Technology and business partners to deliver on the product strategy.

JOB
Responsibilities:
Responsible for alignment on priorities and direction on all product deliveries while creating and maintaining strong relationships with business partners
Develop, prioritize and communicate the product roadmap(s); ensure the strategic objectives for the product(s) are measured and achieved
Partner with the Architecture, Business and Technology teams to incorporate long-range goals, technical roadmap, enterprise and business strategies into timeline
Manage the product demand and communicate cross-functionally changes to priorities (including impacts), schedule and issues
Drive pre-project/cap-ex preparation activities including timelines and milestones
Manage business process documentation at the appropriate level for the product
Maintain relationship with strategic software vendors; understanding and influencing software roadmap
Stay current on industry practices and trends, including business processes, new technology and software, assessing and communicating their potential impact/benefits on the business
Hire and supervise an efficient and effective team that meets the needs of each functional area
Manage Change Readiness and Business uptake responsibilities as appropriate
Leadership Competencies:

Translate ideas into action
Inspire and develop people
Demonstrate one company mindset
Consistently achieve results
BASIC
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience and/or training in product management principles
3-5 years' experience in product management with progressively larger responsibility
3-5 years product management experience in retail or merchandising systems
Clear and effective written and verbal cross-functional communication and strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated negotiation and facilitation skills
Proven leadership skills in managing and growing a team.
Ability to quickly learn other applications as necessary
