Responsibilities for the Civil Engineer
Reviews and approves specifications for equipment and civil/structural/electrical consulting
services
Prepares and/or reviews projects' scope and design concepts
Provides engineering designs and standards for transmission lines and structures.
Coordinates supervises and approves transmission designs from outside consultants
Coordinates civil or electrical design projects with consultants
Requirements for the Civil Engineer
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Technology, will consider BSEE with civil experience
5 years of experience in engineering, including power system engineering and civil engineering preferably for a utility
Must have knowledge of transmission engineering
Professional engineering license or EIT preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
