IT Systems Engineer - VoIP Our direct Fortune 500 client is in need of two (2) IT Systems Engineers with extensive experience with VoIP systems, at their location in Chevy Chase, MD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for: - Design, development, implementation and maintenance of VoIP telephony initiatives for the client's contact centers and Back Office - Experience with VoIP deployments, including understanding the entire call flow for an enterprise and appreciates big picture when designing Scripting solutions - Provide technical leadership and relevant strategic direction - Interface with business customer and peer IT teams to develop and analyze requirements and solution/system delivery - Develop process and procedures for implementation and operational support of systems - Project management and oversight; perform risk evaluation, issue management, etc. - 24x7 production support and technical support to team and customers Overtime: straight time - Hands on Scripting experience Cisco tool set including UCCE, Call Manager and CVP - Hands on knowledge of Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE, Unified Communications Manager (UCM) ) - Understanding and experience in implementing, operating, configuring, and troubleshooting a converged IP Networks - Extremely effective verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate with all levels of associates and management teams - Understanding of SDLC and CMMI concepts - Proven experience in end-to-end problem determination/troubleshooting system issues - Proficient in MS Office product set: MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Project - Proven Project Management experience working on large complicated plan items - Understanding of regional call centers high level business processes a plus: - Understanding of Client Server and database/reporting applications, architecture and design - Software Development Life Cycle experience - Project management skills to lead multiple projects across diverse organizations; collaboration with peer IT teams - Experience troubleshooting data networks, solid understanding of networking protocols and LAN/WAN technologies. - Experience in systems and business analysis - Experience finding solutions for complicated problems using data analysis techniques MYK62683JREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
