Industry leader in custom molded plastics products seeks Molding Technician to support production operations in a fast paced, automated atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Set up injection molding machine; install and remove molds.
Load cycles from machine memory or written process sheets and troubleshoot as required.
Perform material changes and material handling duties as required
Operate and set-up thermolators and any other auxiliary equipment as required.
Optimize machine process for quality and overall cycle time.
Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks on machines.
Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to all safety rules.
Knowledge of injection molding process required, as is the ability to read and interpret schematics or blueprints. Company sells to a variety of OEM customers, across a range of industries.
