We are looking for a Scrum Master to join our growing team. Our highly skilled team supports multiple business groups by developing and supporting custom software solutions. We need someone that can thrive as a member of an agile team, and work collaboratively with the team. Scrum Masters work with technical teams and
coach
them so that they can achieve their best.
Responsibilities:
Expert at managing projects in an agile environment including
o Ensure product team follows good agile practices
o Plan and facilitate meetings for topics such as iteration planning, roadmap planning, requirements for features, steering committee, retrospectives, and process improvement
o Scrum Master will interface with external teams in order to reduce distractions to the development teams they support
o Ensuring that the Development Team is planning, estimating, and achieving sprint goals and deliverables
o Providing regular feedback and progress to product owners and senior stakeholders
o Facilitate user story writing, splitting of stories, and clarification (with Product Owner)
o Help team resolve issues
o Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure
Manage multiple teams
Coach team members on agile and technical best practices
Primary interface to non-team members (along with Product Owner) including clients and vendors
Required Skills:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and oral
Strong interpersonal, influencing, negotiating, and conflict resolution skills.
Able to lead through influence
At least 2-3 years working experience as a Process Owner, Scrum Master, or Technical Project
manager
following Agile practices
At least 5 years working in the software development field
Ideal candidate would have 2 - 3 years of development experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
