Food production company looking for an Assistant Shipping Supervisor.
Summary of Job Duties/
Responsibilities:
The Assistant Shipping Supervisor is responsible for assuring shipping schedules are met by organizing and coordinating trailer loads. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
Experience Required (Length & Type)
Minimum three years experience shipping, material handling, and/or freezer experience in a fresh pork facility.
Education or Training Required:
Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university: or minimum three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Authorized Training Required:
Forklift / Pallet jack/ High-Lift
Lockout / Tag out
Fall Protection
Man lifts
Blood borne Pathogens / First Aid-CPR
Bottom Line Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree.
2. 3
years' shipping, material handling and/or freezer experience required in a pork facility.
3. Training in Forklift / Pallet jack/ High-Lift, Lockout / Tag out, Fall Protection, Man lifts, Blood borne Pathogens.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
