Responsibilities:
The Maintenance
trainer
is responsible for developing all craft training progressions that ensure safe, compliant, and efficient maintenance execution. The Trainer works with lead craftsmen and Team Leaders to administer this training to all crafts. Responsibilities include:
Develop craft specific detailed training packages
Deliver training to all crafts
Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and standards through interaction with engineering, safety and operations
Drive the safety culture and engage in management systems to ensure EHS compliance
Lead the implementation of site or corporate initiatives within maintenance to ensure success
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
10
years maintenance experience in a chemical or petroleum production facility
Demonstrated leadership experience
Strong safety & reliability mentality
Working knowledge of all maintenance craft work and interaction with all maintenance crafts
Trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to make sound decisions and carry out resulting actions
Ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize multiple activities
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and SAP
Desired Skills:
Experience working within established Maintenance Workflow Processes
