I am currently representing a young, small CAP, publically traded E&P client.

In May 2006, the company was formed to facilitate institutional funding. From 2006 to 2010, they completed 15 significant transactions ultimately amassing the portfolio they operate today. In December 2010, they were recapitalized and consolidated. One year later, in December 2011 they listed on the NYSE. They currently have over 100 employees based in three regional offices: Denver, Houston, and Bakersfield.

Since the company's IPO in December 2011 they have realized a 380% increase in their price per share and are now in a strong cash
position
, with oily assets in the Niobrara as well a as the Mid-Continent's, which has led them to initiating a growth strategy that includes the need to on board a Petroleum Engineer.

Summary
The Sr. Reservoir Engineer will lead reservoir engineering technical work at the corporate level working on special projects including quantifying reserves and resources and providing reservoir engineering support for exploration and/or resource projects. He/she will work closely with geology, geophysicists and operations to gather and analyze data. This position is expected to be integral in expanding and quantifying the companies asset base.
As a Senior Reservoir Engineer you will be responsible for the following:
Responsible for reserve and economic analysis for the assigned region.
Work with geoscience and operations teams to create field development and/or exploration programs to maximize value and increase 3P reserve estimates using all aspects of petroleum engineering.
Equal understanding of operations and reserves.
Analyze data and construct appropriate reservoir models to assist in planning development strategies.
Help develop test and surveillance programs to adequately evaluate upside potential.
Assist with budget, long-range planning and reserve activities as requested and communicate to Corporate Reserve Group.
Provide detailed full cycle economic analysis of development plans.
Follow safe operating practices and ensure compliance with the companies Environment, Safety & Regulatory requirements.
Assure all work performed adheres to the companies standards.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or expected equivalent education and previous reservoir experience
Minimum of 5
years progressive oil and gas development/reservoir experience required, with 8 - 10 years reservoir experience in the corresponding Rockies or Mid-Continent Basins where the position will be assigned is strongly preferred
Proven knowledge in reservoir development planning/economic concepts and budget management methodologies
Must have strong proficiency in Aries and Microsoft Office
Exemplary interpersonal and written communication, organization and analytical skills
Must have strong presentation skills and be able to present to a variety of audiences
Strong ability to work in a consultative manner with every level of internal/external staff/contacts
Ability to meet deadlines and advance multiple projects concurrently
Ability to travel to various field office locations as needed
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
