Solaris and Linux environment
Candidates must have experience with Oracle 11g, DB Performance, Weblogic, Oracle RAC, Backup & recovery, Enterprise Grid, and SQL tuning.
Data Guard, OEM - Oracle Enterprise Manager;
Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL), Stored Procedures,
Recovery Manager (RMAN)
Cloning EBS applications and Databases is required
Knowledge of Transportable Tablespaces
Provide support during off hours
UNIX Experience with Oracle 10g/11g
Application and Database Patching
Team-oriented work ethic that includes willingness to help others
Excellent communication and documentation skills
SQL and Shell scripting
Experience with designing, deploying, administering, and supporting Oracle Databases
Oracle DataGuard Physical Standby configuration, build and support
Knowledge of enterprise data architecture principles
Ability to develop data requirements and configure database parameter
Experience in the following areas is a plus: Business Intelligence, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle OBIEE, Noetix, Oracle Single Sign-On (SSO), Oracle Internet Directory (OID)
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the architecture, design, creation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and administration of all new and existing database systems for the enterprise.
Participate in the Development of proper security for all systems that are designed, developed, and/or implemented.
Responsible for frequent cloning of EBS applications and databases
Understands the use of information systems, the importance of business and financial data integrity and security, the need to protect information, and the obligation to follow appropriate security controls.
Ensures the accuracy and confidentiality of Company information and safeguards the security, integrity, and availability of all administered systems and confidential information in the department in accordance with Information Security Policies.
Interfaces with Enterprise IT Operations, Applications Development, and IT Business units to understand and interpret on-going business needs, storage and reporting requirements, and emerging trends. Ensure that there is a database environment that supports these needs and helps develop solutions to meet business objectives.
Manages enterprise databases, creates, physical design, administration, monitoring, tuning, and cloning of development of backup and recovery processes that are designed for optimum speed and efficiency.
Develops, implements, monitors, and enforces operational standards, processes, policies and procedures for database applications and database programming.
Performs routine database maintenance, SQL tuning, patching and upgrades as necessary.
Reviews physical database structures for data integrity, performance quality and recoverability, maintenance, and space requirements.
Provides consultation, assistance, and technical support to all end users. Resolves problems with emphasis on timeliness and efficiency. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
