For more information about Fannie Mae and our career opportunities, visit . JOB INFORMATION Deal with internal clients and manage expectations regarding application development with staff resources. Assign and manage development staff assigned to particular projects and provide technical oversight as needed. Hire, manage, develop and evaluate staff. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS Confer with management or client group and determine technical requirements of pending or current projects. Assess how development objectives can best be met using current staff and resources. Coordinate and administer assignments to projects, monitor team progress, and maintain schedules. Report to clients as necessary. Meet with various teams concerned with programming, development, testing, and acceptance and provide technical assessment and provision of appropriate resources at different stages of project May provide technical contributions or project management to current project. Ensure that project(s) are conducted in accord with the organization's structured methodology and standards for application development. Communicate with and may oversee project managers assigned to projects on which relevant staff are assigned. Plan, manage, document and evaluate staff performance. Ensure continued technical and professional development of staff and provide ongoing technical guidance and direction. EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 6 years of related experience SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS Experience managing concurrent/complex projects with tight deadlines Ability to effectively collaborate and negotiate agreements across business, data and technological domains/boundaries. Experience leading agile development teams Experience with vendor management including contract negotiation, metric definition and service level agreements Project planning skills to include a demonstrated understanding of risk management, issue management, resource management and financial management Demonstrated understanding of SDLC standards and methodologies. Experience leading teams using various staffing models, including matrixed, shared

, outsourced Experience managing project teams with staff located offsite, working remotely Experience with Web Services and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to develop and deliver presentations to senior management, communicate effectively across multiple stakeholder teams and all levels of management and build strong sustainable customer relationships Experience in hiring and staffing teams 6 years people management experience - including the ability to manage, coach, and mentor employees, assess their work products and behaviors, and provide task assignment and feedback Experience in mortgage finance industry is preferred.
