Researches, collects, and reports information on the ability and capacity of company products and competing equipment. Aids in the design and development of equipment and systems, and redesign of existing systems to fulfill the needs of customers. Responsibilities also include providing equipment functionality and capability reports, and acting as technical liaison to a team. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 4 years or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
ODOT SPECIFIC DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this request is to procure SharePoint contractor
services
to support the migration of SharePoint contentwebsites from WSS 3.0 SP3 to SharePoint 2010. The position will work with ODOT ET (Enterprise Technology) staff, train, communicate, and provide the Technical Lead role for the WSS 3.0 to SharePoint 2010 migration project. This position works closely with the Project
manager
of the migration project, web content editors and site owners.
SharePoint 2010 admin experience - Mandatory
WSS 3.0 SP2 experience - Mandatory
SharePoint scripting experience - Mandatory
End-user support experience - Mandatory
SharePoint Governance experience - Desirable
WSS 3.0 to SharePoint 2010 migration experience (including post migration follow up, end user support, etc.) - Mandatory
Advanced troubleshooting skills - Mandatory
Backuprecovery of SharePoint experience - Mandatory
SharePoint customization - Mandatory
Logical architectural experience - Mandatory
