The Director of Architecture Technologies is a member of the senior IT Leadership team and is accountable for establishing and managing all technology, process and organizational standards and roadmaps in support of our enterprise.

The Architectural
services
Leader will be responsible for:
Business Architecture: Cultivating relationships with business stakeholders, Maintaining in-depth knowledge of strategic business plans, Developing and maintaining current and future state business architecture.
Information System & Technology Architecture: Designing and overseeing implementation of end-to-end integrated systems, Delivering architectural initiatives that drive revenue and improve efficiency inline with business strategy, Cultivating relationships with IT management, Maintaining in-depth knowledge of the organization's technologies and architectures, Developing and maintaining current and planned state architectural blueprints, Developing and maintaining a strategic architectural road map for the enterprise, Communicating architectural decisions, plans, goals and strategies, Gaining organizational commitment for enterprise level architecture and infrastructure initiatives, Providing architectural direction to Enterprise Architects, Business Architects and Solution Architects, Developing architectural metrics and reports for the
executive
team, business and IT management.

Data Architecture: Overseeing the design and implementation of enterprise data and metadata structures, Creating a plan to integrate business systems and workflows in support of business strategy, Developing and enforcing best practices for master data management and integration.

Integration Architecture: Overseeing the design and implementation of enterprise application, data and service integration structures, Creating a plan to integrate business systems and workflows in support of business strategy, Developing and enforcing best practices for integration management

Architectural Programs & Initiatives: Initiating and delivering architectural programs that align IT with business strategy, Delivering requisite program documentation including program charters, schedules, requirements documents, specifications, design documents and testing strategies.

Research & Development: Initiating and delivering technology evaluations and recommendations.

Architecture Consultancy: Maintaining in-depth knowledge of IT industry best practices, technologies, architectures and emerging technologies, Providing architectural consulting to programs, projects and initiatives, Supporting business and IT strategic planning, Supporting product development teams, Acting as the focal point for enterprise architecture and IT standards.

Architectural Governance: Developing, communicate and deploy Enterprise Architecture Governance processes, Develop and communicate enterprise technology standards and policies, Review new and existing program/project architecture for compliance with IT standards, policies and architectural plans, Review IT procurement plans for compliance with IT standards and architectural plans, Document exceptions to architectural standards, Ensure that project documentation captures significant architectural decisions, Ensure that architectural governance is a fair, consistent and transparent process, Identify architectural risks and propose alternatives and solutions
Key
Responsibilities:

Establish a strong relationship with executive, business, & functional leaders globally
Continue to position IT Architecture Services as a strategic partner to the business.
Develop overall strategy and approach for establishing a consolidated Architectural Services organization focused on the effective and efficient lifecycle management of IT products and services
Develop policies, guidelines and methods that inform and guide the direction for overall delivery of business and technical architectures
Lead and develop a high performing Architecture Services team at all levels that is customer service oriented, shows a bias for responsiveness and performance and is results focused
Collaborate and consult with IT partners in the other Enterprise IT teams
Lead and manage an effective and collaborative team that delivers a balanced approach between structure, discipline and flexibility in their procedures that assist in the guidance of the overall IT organization
Provide effective change leadership in driving continuous improvements and innovation in the organization to driver higher return on investment of IT solutions deployed and lower total cost of ownership and to realize measurable productivity results from identified improvement initiatives
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Master's level degree in a relevant area and/or MBA preferred from an accredited college or university
A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant IT leadership experience
Prior experience in a large ($5B plus in revenues), complex manufacturing, distribution, or retail / consumer goods organization with an integrated supply chain function preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Financially astute, with a keen understanding of cost drivers
Able to develop appropriate methodologies, but willing to roll up sleeves and drive execution and implementation
Team orientated and will promote execution and change through influence
Highly knowledgeable of best practices in the area of information technology and capable of transferring that knowledge to the organization
Experience with change management and organization development initiatives
Comfortable with ambiguity and complexity
A highly energetic, charismatic, results oriented leader that has the presence to positively influence the business
Exhibit strong leadership skills and have the ability to develop, enhance and grow relationships internally and externally
Able to work where personal and professional ethics are paramount in importance and possess exceptional interpersonal skills
SAP Experience (SAP HANA is a huge plus)
