Responsibilities: Design DC infrastructure in response to the SOW, RFPs and internal use, working closely with IT, Data Center Solution Architect, Service Development team and product managers. Act as liaison between teams to bridge the gaps in strategy and technical direction. Collaborate with key players to discover pain points and needed improvements. Facilitate and govern transition of new DC technologies into the enterprise within the organization. Internal company and customers. Continuously seek for DC OFIs that can lead to improve customer DCs and generate revenue. Perform proof of concepts (POC) and proof of architecture (POA) with various hardware and software vendors to select the best product. Produce reports and attain buy-in from peers and management. Provide architectural artifacts for documentation and visualization. Present a clear and obtainable future state for the enterprise. Maintain relationships with vendors to seize beneficial opportunities for products and
services
. Assist with budget forecasting and road map planning to anticipate upgrades and growth. Demonstrated abilities in Architecture of Data Center in building highly available, redundant and scalable infrastructure for enterprise applications. Disaster Recovery, Defining, planning, and testing of failover and recovery scenarios. Documentation, Visio Diagrams, blueprints, artifacts, operational procedures, reports, evaluations. Participate in client meetings, leading the consultative sales process to identify and understand client needs Lead the development of solution(s) of hardware, software, and services that address client needs Develop proposals, bills-of-materials, and statements of work for complex solutions of hardware, software, and services Coordinate and work with other sales and technical resources to develop complex solutions Present solution proposals to client, supported by appropriate business justifications and ROI Deliver short-term workshop and assessment engagements to analyze client environments and develop appropriate strategies and recommendations for infrastructure transformation Maintain client account relationships over time to continue to respond to inquiries, provide advice, and identify new opportunities Work with local vendor partners to help drive business and support demand generation

Qualifications: The DC Architect position requires broad and deep knowledge of hardware and software products within the following technology areas and manufacturers that CompuCom supports. Those manufacturers indicated with ( ) are highly desired as primary skills for this position. Multi-vendor expertise is strongly desired. Servers and Converged Infrastructure platforms (HP , Cisco, VCE, Dell, IBM) Virtualization (VMware , Microsoft, Citrix) Storage (HP , EMC, NetApp , Dell) Data Protection and Archival (Symantec , EMC, HP Autonomy) Cloud Orchestration (VMware , HP , VCE, BMC) The DC Architect must possess an advanced and in depth product knowledge and experience in the following DC disciplines: Enterprise Storage In depth knowledge of various products to select from in; NAS, SAN technologies; design, scaling, and capacity planning (NetApp, EMC, HP, IBM etc). Networking In depth knowledge of various products to select from in; Routers, Switches, Firewalls, load balancers, proxies, IPS/IDS (Cisco, F5, Juniper, Brocade, CheckPoint etc.). Platform/Server Infrastructure In depth knowledge of various products to select from in; density and right sizing of datacenters, Servers, blades, racks, appliances (IBM, HP, Dell). Virtualization and Cloud In depth knowledge of various products to select from to; design, deploy and scaling of hosts and or enterprise cloud architecture environment, virtual machines (VMware, Public cloud providers). Must be an subject matter expert in the following areas: Enterprise Applications (Web stacks, authentication/security, Back Office), MS Products Databases (SQL, Oracle) Unix/Linux (RedHat, Solaris) Windows Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012 Big Data (Hadoop, NoSQL) Soft Skills: Ability to think creatively and beyond normal constraints (out-of-the-box thinking). Research and stay abreast of new technologies and how they may fit into the existing enterprise. Use industry best practices and standards to provide the most stable and reliable systems. Methodical and creative approach to problem solving. Propose possible technical architecture design to the team, and management and not just the problems. Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in

Science, related field or equivalent experience. 5 years of experience with
information technology

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
