Project Description
oThe CFS Project is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and obtaining federal certification of a federally-mandated Child Support Enforcement System (CSES) that will provide comprehensive support to the operation of
south carolina
's Child Support Enforcement (CSE) program as well as for completing the development and implementation of the Family Court Case Management System (FCCMS) for the 46 Clerks of Court.
oThe Department seeks a highly motivated individual who has the skills for converting data from mainframe legacy and multiple, disparate legacy platforms for transformation and use by the new integrated Child Support Enforcement System (CSES) under the South Carolina Department of Social
services

oPosition Description - Data Conversion SQL Developer
oCandidates must be experienced developers having performed data conversion on multiple projects during their employment history. The SQL Developer will be responsible for developing applications and integrations using the Microsoft SQL Server platform. This will include reports, vendor exports, data warehousing tasks and other data related tasks. This position requires excellent communication, technical and project management skills.

Duties
oTake initiative in performance, working independently and with groups to effectively accomplish project objectives and engage in the following:
oIdentifying, extracting and transforming required data based on business requirements and following data governance standards
oManually migrating required data from the legacy system data by analyzing and mapping existing data to a new solution
oWorking closely with legacy data teams and the SI/vendor teams to ensure the right data is migrated
oPerforming detailed data analysis and data profiling supporting the development and implementation of data cleanse/create processes and other strategies that optimize data quality
oUnderstanding performance, quality, and schedule considerations
oInterpreting complex data and communicate it in an effective manner, leveraging advanced reporting techniques
oRecognizing data patterns, quantify potential issues, and identify solutions
oStandardizing, harmonizing, cleaning, preparing, and using data for datasets development, reporting, and analysis
oProviding support to the project team in terms of technical specification and build of Interface and Conversion objects
oDeveloping and maintaining enterprise data authoritative ownership and stewardship metadata
oCommunicating and supporting the implementation of corporate policies, standards, and procedures that provide effective architecture, governance, and management of the organization's information/data assets
oDeveloping and maintaining effective and efficient information architecture and data ownership awareness and training programs
oMonitoring regulatory and compliance guidelines (such as data retention and audit requirements) to determine impact on enterprise information architecture
Required Qualifications
oBE or BS Degree in one of the following subject areas:
computer
Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field preferred.
o5 years Microsoft SQL Server experience; must demonstrated direct experience in the use of MS SQL 2005, 2008, 2008 R2, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and ErWin Data Modeler.
o5 years IT operation with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
oUnderstanding of, and experience with, server-client computing and relational database environments.
oExperience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques.
oKnowledge of reporting and query tools and practices.
oGood understanding of the organizations goals and objectives.
oGood interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Technical documentation skills:
oAbility to present ideas in user-friendly language.
oSelf-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
oAble to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
oExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
oDesired Qualifications
oPreference will be given to experience related to Child Support Enforcement system design and developed and/or knowledge of the Child Support Enforcement program's mission and objectives
oExperience with Agile software development is a plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
