IT Project Manager
The IT Project Manager will collaborate with Senior Project Managers to develop and maintain a consolidated project work plan, resource planning (including professional
services
, hardware and software), coordinating equipment build activities, attending key program meetings, documenting key issues, risks and escalating accordingly, communicating to key stakeholders within the Program about critical decisions and ensuring timely completion of those decisions.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage detailed project work plan for assigned project/program timely
Collaborate with IT project managers and Senior Project Managers to update and manage cross-functional milestones and dependencies
Facilitate meetings as needed and publish meeting minutes
Coordinate infrastructure hardware build activities
Develop and manage resource plan in Excel and Clarity
Develop and manage list of required hardware and software documents and estimates in Excel
Prioritize and communicate proactively to manage departmental expectations regarding status/timing of resource availability (includes hardware and software)
When required, develop IT option summaries, Decision Documents and recommendations and present to key decision makers
Consolidate IT project work plan (MS Project)
Work within MS Office (Excel & Outlook), MS Visio, MS Project, and multi-platform environments (Linux, AIX, Intel, IBM Mainframe, Websphere, Cloud)
Essential
Qualifications:
PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent preferred
Bachelor's Degree or higher in
Engineering, Technology or related field
Minimum 5-10 years of project management or IT Management
Minimum 3 years' experience coordinating and/supporting IT business processes
Full understand of PIMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
Proficient experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
