This is an opportunity to engineer identification and verification related solutions for government, commercial and international customers on a variety of exciting biometrics projects. We are looking for driven, self-starters that will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle--from requirements, to development, through to testing, deployment and O&M. Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be customer oriented, pay attention to detail and possess good decision making abilities. Candidates must have a BS in
computer
Science or related field. We are seeking individuals experienced in Microsoft .NET, Java, web application programming, SQL, Android, and iOS. However, engineers are encouraged to identify and recommend software tools, techniques and technologies that produce optimal solutions for our customers' requirements. I3 seeks individuals who are interested in the biometrics field and who are interested in staying abreast of emerging biometric technologies.
Tasks:
Full software lifecycle development--requirements, design, development, testing, documentation, deployment, operations and maintenance (O&M).
Development of cutting-edge biometric and other software systems.
Evaluation and integration of COTS biometric hardware sensors and devices with I3 software solutions on notebook computers and mobile devices (Windows, Android, iOS).
Identifying emerging business opportunities--matching I3's capabilities with market demand as new biometric devices and SDKs become available.
Innovation, research, and development of new ideas.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
