The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess: - Accounting or payroll experience. - Excellent communication. - Attention to detail. What You'll Be Doing: - With ongoing supervision, assists or conducts all tax related functions as they relate to Payroll. - Performs a variety of routine duties in account maintenance, requiring the application of professional accounting techniques. - Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity in maintaining accounts or systems, preparing reports and in the distribution of costs. - Responsible for accounting and related activities where such functions are limited in complexity or volume. - Work is normally reviewed for over-all standards of performance and for compliance with established policies and procedures. - Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor and other personnel in the section or group. What You Need to Bring to the Table: - Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field plus two (2) years of experience in related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience. - Working knowledge of accounting functions as they relate to Payroll including account reconciliations, spreadsheet maintenance and certain calculations for employee earnings records.
