Top performing hedge fund seeks to immediately onboard a SQL / Python Developer to work within their Middle Office group across all asset
classes
. This is a PERMANENT FULLTIME opportunity based in Greenwich,
connecticut
.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work within a group highly involved in new strategy and fund setup, the design and testing of changes and additions to the firm's portfolio management system, and various ad-hoc reporting at the request of portfolio managers and investor relations. Candidate will be working closely with traders and the middle office, working on allocation optimization, commission optimization and systems building. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills both in a written and verbal capacity, in addition to the following:
Expert proficiency in Excel and one of Python, VBA, or SQL required
Experience working with multi-asset classes and a strong understanding of transaction processes
Background and ability to work with traders and portfolio managers
Understanding of complex financial instruments and hedge fund trading strategies
Strong quantitative, analytical background with an ability to perform daily profit/loss and risk analysis
Quick and flexible learner with initiative to identify and execute on projects

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
