Great opportunity for a Degree Qualified CHP Manager / Engineer with a sound understanding of hazards and controls associated with a complex industrial environment is required to work with a leading food company based in Norfolk.
Salary c. 55k plus excellent benefits
The CHP Manager will be accountable for successful CHP compliance and operations acitivites, from gas consumption to electrcity and steam generation. Responsible for the improvement programmes delivering business impact levels of performance increase, through people, plant and process.
Key Result Areas:
Deliver budgeted operations - through correct gas consumption, electricity generation, energy delivery efficiency (steam) and operational costs.
Achieve a successful execution of the CHP improvement plan for the site.
Satisfy the safety and environmental legal requirements for the safe consumption and generation of energy (Gas, Steam and Electricity).
The CHP Manager will have excellent decision making skills and will be responsible for all tactical and operational decisions concerning the CHP plant
Key Experience & Skills:
Degree or equivalent (Mechanical
engineering
)
Be able to make sound mechanical engineering decisions on all aspects of CHP operations
Preferably trained in a number of management/leadership areas outside degree base
NEBOSH safety certificate
Qualification in industrial combustion and energy areas
Knowledge and experience within related industrial processes, 5 years minimum
