Business Analyst We are currently seeking a Business Analyst for a 3 months contract position in West Point, VA. This position will be assisting the Customer Service Department using various reporting tools. Specifically, the individual filling this position must have a reasonable level of expertise in Excel, including proficiency in pivots, formulas and creating/editing macros for report customization. Reporting will often be focused around inventory data, so candidate must be able to learn new nomenclature. Skills:- 3-5 years Business Analytics experience - Bachelors Degree preferred - Strong Excel skills: VLookup, pivots, writing macros/creating reports - Adept at Powerpoint - Additional knowledge is other software/reporting tools is helpful - Must have very strong communication skills, able to work well with a team. - Position will often be fast-paced with multiple reporting requests, so ability to manage work load in addition to managing CSR Team's expectations. Over time may be required.
Responsibilities: 1. Development of daily, weekly, and monthly reports 2. Will be scrubbing and analysing Customer Service and Inventory data. 3. Working on special reporting projects; must be able to customize existing reports and create new reports to deliver to members of CS team. 4. Understand the process so that minimum direction is required when developing the reports. 5. Preparation of Powerpoint presentations for client presentations. 5. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
