Kelly Scientific has an exciting entry-level Quality Control opportunity at a food company north of Rochester, MN.
This is a Temp-to-Hire
position
which works very closely with the production line. Shifts rotate between Friday-Monday 6am-6pm, and Monday-Thursday four 10 hour shifts.
Responsibilities:
Setting up the packaging forms to assure production accuracy.
Performing basic laboratory chemistry and microbiology testing on raw materials, in-process, and final products.
Confirming all testing is within the specifications required.
Continuously check code and container for any flaws or mistakes.
Assuring batch records are completed and together.
Certifying finished batches.
Completion of all records in a timely manner.

Assist to maintain production and customer reports for permanent file, as well as forwarding copies to other company personnel as necessary.
Communicate adequately with all staff, employees, customers, and regulatory agencies when necessary.
Cooperate with all account laboratories, USDA, FDA, in regard to quality control regulations within existing laws and regulations when necessary.
Abide by all required Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
Willing to perform other duties as assigned or as necessary.
Requirements:
B.S. in Food Science or related field.
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Has the ability to read and understand instructions.
Good computer skills.
Be motivated and a self-starter.


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
