DreamGallery is a software suite that enables operators to offer cloud-based video
services
to their subscribers. The software allows users to reach their video content from any device at any time. Among our customers are leading TV operators that drive innovation within the industry.
This role is for a software engineer to participate as a contributing member of DreamGallery development team.
Responsibilities include:
o Design, develop, test, implement and supports solutions and enhancements.
o Participate in an agile team approach to software development and problem solving.
o Creates and maintains documentation to support the full Application Development Lifecycle.
o Mentors others in areas of expertise, including current technologies, systems, business practices, and standards.
o Assists in developing and improving procedures, standards, and best practices.
o Effectively communicates with business partners, peers and management.
o Responsible for problem resolution and correction of production/operational problems as assigned.
o Works with Interface Design Architects to assure accessibility standards are met at a code level.
o Contributes to the engineering team's culture of high code quality.
Required Skills
o Deep knowledge in advanced object oriented JavaScript with server communication.
o Experience of working in embedded environments, with client applications, SVG, XML and databases is a plus.
o JavaScript, CSS, X/HTML and other programming and Scripting languages.
Preferred skills:
o Prolific HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/JQuery coding skills and experience in laying out the fundamental building blocks, core foundation and frameworks
o Experience of working in embedded environments, with client applications, SVG, XML and databases is a plus.
o Experience in building web and rich internet UI applications with significant experience in HTML5/JavaScript/JQuery/CSS3/ development.
o Experience in building User Interfaces for large scale, multi-tier applications
o Comprehensive knowledge of Web development practices, standards, and proven ability to integrate with large scale Back End systems and a track record of delivering Front
Required Experience
o Bachelors or higher degree or equivalent work experience.
