Join our team asSenior Investment and Tax Accountant. In this role you will be responsible for accounting, reporting and tax compliance for trust, partnerships etc.; along with administration of company pension plan investments and other investment portfolios. This role requires the ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information. In addition to strong communication and interpersonal skills as you will have direct contact with principals. Duties to include:
Prepare and maintain investment and related partnership accounting using internal investment software system (Advent).
Oversee and review reporting provided by investment managers and custodial banks and reconcile to internal investment software system (Advent).
Analyze, track and report on investment holdings and the performance of investment portfolios.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual investment performance reports, including presentations for investment committees. Participate in investment committee meetings.
Coordinate the implementation of investment strategies, including account openings and closings.
Coordinate and oversee funding to/from investment portfolios, including payments of management fees, capital calls and new commitments.
Coordinate and oversee cash receipts and disbursements to/from individual accounts.
Assist in analyzing new investment opportunities/strategies.
Prepare income tax returns, estimated tax filings and annual report filings for trusts, partnerships, etc.
Assist in tax research and planning projects.
Prepare investment related information necessary for audits of Company and pension plan financial statements.
Manage financial and administrative aspects of solar generation activities.
Requirements
Four year degree in Finance/Accounting with a CPA designation a plus
Position requires 3-5 years accounting experience, tax helpful
Knowledge of investment administration
Hours - M-F 25-35/week
