SUMMARY
Develop, implement, enforce and continuously refine the safety and environmental health programs to comply or exceed with local, state and federal regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, enforce and continuously refine the safety and environmental health programs and policies to comply with all local, state and federal regulations.
Evaluate new manufacturing processes, equipment, tools and chemicals and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate hazards and promote a safe, healthy work environment.
Develop and benchmark a Safety Standards Program.
Direct active hazard control and accident prevention programs.
Prepare and review reports to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Formulate general safety and environmental policies and procedures to comply with local, state and federal (e.g. OSHA, EPA) rules and regulations.
Develop, supervise and coordinate training programs, which encourage a safe and healthy work environment, and counsel all levels of management and employees on safety management programs and practices.
Direct Worker Compensation Program - Return To Work Program - In-House Therapy Program.
Identify measure and improve environmental health and safety processes.
Analyze accident/injury trends, review ergonomic job stressors.
Develop and implement a Near Miss Program.
Coordinate various facility projects with outside contractors.
Lead and direct Safety Committee activities.
Oversee ADT Security System.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not supervise other employees.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven knowledge and experience with evaluating new chemicals and new manufacturing processes including ergonomics.
Minimum of 5-7 years of safety management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience supporting multiple manufacturing locations.
Skilled in working with Safety Committee volunteer members and management.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
ISO 14001 System Implementation
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Safety, Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business
community
. Ability to effectively present information to management and production employees related to safety, environmental and facility matters.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
There are no specific certificates, licenses or registrations required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
