Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Microsoft Dynamics GP Senior Application Consultant based out of our Indianapolis, IN office.
Responsibilities:
Implementation of core and advanced Microsoft Dynamics GP and its add-on products
Installation, training, upgrading, support, and documentation of GP
Resource for performing discovery/diagnostic phase of project
Client relationship manager from a consulting standpoint
Post-implementation support (help desk)
Provide onsite and offsite consulting
services
and support to Sikich's Dynamics GP clients
Demonstration of product to existing and prospective clients
Learn, utilize, and promote the Sikich Project Implementation Methodology
Mentor junior consultants
Foster teamwork
Obtain and maintain Dynamics GP certifications
Requirements:
Minimum BS, preferably in business or accounting and/or IT related field
5-10
years of ERP implementation experience with Dynamics GP software
Experience as a consultant strongly preferred
Accounting or financial systems background, CPA a plus
Hands on experience in the manufacturing/distribution industry is highly preferred
Strong skills with a core and advanced Dynamics GP application
Ability to perform the pre-installation discovery/diagnostics phase of a Dynamics GP implementation
Hands on experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP Accounting and Distribution modules required
Additional experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP Manufacturing, Project Accounting, Payroll, Field Service, Advanced FRx financial reporting, Fixed Assets, Forecaster are a plus
Strong interpersonal skills to manage client relationships from a consulting standpoint
MS SQL familiarity to address issues with technical staff and client
Solid data schema knowledge of Dynamics GP
Understanding of ERP software implementation project life cycles and methodologies
Software training skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Windows
Technical proficiency in the areas of software troubleshooting and support a plus
Microsoft Dynamics GP certifications a plus
