Project Manager - Service Delivery/IT Email Migrations/Deployments Overview: The CompuCom Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing billable client projects and ensuring all customer commitments are met. These projects may include all facets of IT Service Management, End User Computing and IT Infrastructure deployments and migrations. The Project Manager will use formal project management techniques and interact with Customer contacts, Sales Team and other key stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and agreed upon scope. The Client Project Manager may work onsite at client locations and remote, depending on project and client requirements.
Responsibilities: Specific responsibilities include:- Overall project management - Delivering projects/programs within approved budget, schedule and customer satisfaction thresholds - Participating in face-to-face Client meetings to understand and deliver key customer requirements - Building cross-functional relationships to deliver integrated solutions as one team - Ability to manage and motivate a team(s) to fully meet client requirements. - Managing projects of varying size, scope and complexity - Planning project activities, budget and resources - Monitoring/tracking/reporting progress against plan - Promoting teamwork and cooperation to achieve objectives - Building and maintaining sound business relationships with clients, internal team members and stakeholders - Applying formal Project Management tools and methodologies - Focusing on continuous improvement and teamwork through conducting quantitative reviews of the engagement process - Managing the implementation of assigned projects to meet customer expectations measured by Customer Satisfaction Feedback ratings
Qualifications: Required Knowledge:- 5 years of Program/Project Management experience leading large IT projects/programs ($100,000 - $10M) - Familiarity with Business Growth Planning - Experience managing projects involving one or more of the following: (a) Windows 7/PC refresh migration/deployments, (b) Microsoft Active Directory/Exchange email migrations, (c) server/storage deployments, (d) IP Telephony/Unified Communications/data networking deployments, (e) IT Service Management tool deployments (eg ServiceNow) - 5 years of direct management experience of both people and budgets in a project management capacity - Ability to communicate effectively with senior level executives. Capable of facilitating workshops at executive levels - Strong negotiation/facilitation skills ability to gain consensus. - Ability to consult with customers at a business level - Ability to translate and communicate a customer's strategic opportunities into requirements for the technical teams - Excellent written and presentation skills - Ability to facilitate solutions in a complex IT technology and business environment - Ability to manage customer expectations throughout the sales and delivery process - Strong decision making skills - Ability to work on teams in a lead and participative capacity with many different and diverse stakeholders - Formal knowledge of project management principles, processes and tools - Sound knowledge of ITIL solutions and tool sets - PMP certification - ITIL Certification - Six Sigma Certification preferred MYK62683JREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
