Working in team environment to develop quality software
Provide technical direction and coordination to developers
Guide developers in making sure implementation matches intended design and architecture
Design software modules using object-oriented design principles
Write modular, maintainable, object-oriented software
Manage source control and the build / deployment process
Perform unit and integration tests to ensure defect-free delivery of software
Troubleshoot difficult and intermittent production bugs
Fix software defects found in QA or in the field
Collaborate with team members and internal customers on requirements and features
Document software design and implementation
Develop internal tools to automate processes such as builds, unit tests, repeated queries



JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Required Skills:

BS degree required,
computer
science preferred
Minimum 5 years experience in software development, 8 years preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to understand and implement complex business rules
Demonstrated proficiency in object oriented programming
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft technologies like .Net framework, C#, ASP.NET, visual studio, MSDN
Demonstrated proficiency in SQL
Working proficiency in data analysis, analytics, reporting
Working knowledge of XML and associated tools
Working knowledge of UML, use case analysis

Desired skills:

Proficiency in Web
services

Working knowledge of unit testing tools such as nunit / Junit
Knowledge of Rational unified process
Experience with agile development
