Provide a roadmap for successful adoption of SOA
Identify important business and technology patterns of SOA
SOA Lifecycle, Maturity Model and defining SOA Strategy
The proposed end-state architecture
SOA Methodology similar to Enterprise Architecture Framework (Biz arch, Data arch, App arch (incl. shared data
services
), Tech arch & Security)
Transformation layer, Business logic, Business data, & integration layer
Frame work components - Data Services, Data validation services, message transformation, Logging, Exception handling, monitoring
Notification framework - Multiple channel notifications, etc
Service proxy for ESB, Web Services, REST, etc.
Security framework - Autho/Authn,
Synchronous/asynch
Transparent deployment, multi-version deployment
Service registry (UDDI)
Monitoring framework & SLAs
Document various patters and best practices around governance and organizations
Service definition, deployment and management process including templates, best practices, patterns, etc.
