Summary:
Enhance GM VP's effectiveness by providing information, management support, and representing the executives to others by performing the following duties either in person or through subordinates.

Responsabilities:
Conducts research, assembles, interpret reports, and develops a fiscal year-to- date (FYTD) reconciliation, which includes but not limited to analysis of sales volume, forecasts, ads, planners, authorizations, displays, and Nielson data to be used in supplier review meetings.
Generates time sensitive data reports which include but not limited to, an analysis for use in team meetings, new item presentations, quantity deals, etc.
Builds and updates authorization grids for major suppliers. In addition, input distribution changes, cluster information, new or discontinued items and the dates the changes occurred.
Correctly processes expense reports for designated managers.
Designs and maintains databases to support sales execution.
Able to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in all matters of the
executive
section.
Works closely and effectively with the VP to keep him/her informed of commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks facilitating the VP's ability to effectively lead the company.
Coordinates, manages, and maintains scheduled appointments and travel arrangements for the VP and Branch managers.
Plans and schedules meetings and teleconferences. Receives and interacts with incoming visitors. Arranges meals and samples accordingly.
Opens, organizes, and distributes incoming correspondence and emails, maintains files, answers incoming calls if VP or Branch Manager is not available.
Prepares and edits correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents as needed.
Manages supplier work-with calendar and in market activity including sales meetings, supplier blitzes, and special
events
.
Administration of promotions and modeling agencies.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION:

A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred
Minimum two years related experience in administrative support role required.
Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
Requires strong writing and analytical skills
Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and use independent judgment in the absence of the VP of Sales.
Must be able to prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously,proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion,often with deadline pressure.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents (such as general business periodicals, professional journals, safety rules, and procedure manuals), write routine reports and correspondence, and to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Spanish bilingual abilities preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commission, proportions, and percentages. This position also requires the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished (in written, oral, or diagram form) and to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must possess valid driver's license, and a reliable vehicle.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to work with management and customers throughout the business and industry at every level
The ability to train and develop assigned personnel
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
