General
Responsibilities:
Aggressive direct sales/marketing campaign for new sales and maintaining valued existing relationships within our wholesale channel--specifically, sectional and rolling steel doors; operators; dock system accessories; dock levelers; HM doors/frames and architectural hardware.
Develops relationships with prospects and existing client base to execute a value propositional based selling model. Ability to recommend alternative products and
services
to our client base.
Proper documentation of each account activity must be neat, concise and accurate. Consistent visibility and relevant interaction is essential to acquiring and retaining our valued customer base. Maintaining our latest customer cost multipliers; literature and samples to this channel is vital.
Ability to spot opportunities within channel for additional sales. Understands components of customer financial modeling--cost/sell/margins/assets employed
Assembly of complete and accurate proposal for sales presentation--with any scope modifications, obstructions and/or alterations being noted on such proposals.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Sales/Marketing and/or Project Management within the building products industry is highly desired.
A pre-employment background check and drug screen, along with a clean driving record are all requirements. A minimum of 5 years relevant high profile sales experience is also required--with the ability to effectively interact with various levels of customer
employee
base--top to bottom.
This
position
has little to no supervision at times--consequently, the ability to be impeccably disciplined with time management and professionalism qualities are absolutely essential and will be measured. Systematic cold calling-by phone and in-person, tenacious follow-up and burning desire to succeed are staples to succeed in this role.
Must be goal oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong telephone--as well as a clear understanding of customer service.


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
