Position
Summary:

the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for talent acquisition (attracting, sourcing, and presenting qualified candidates) for all corporate/school positions. This process includes supporting Hiring Managers with interviewing, pre-employment screening, and referring applicants for positions throughout the organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide HR support to internal customers throughout the entire company.
Responsibilities:
o Post new positions internally and externally using organization's application tracking system and numerous external posting sites;
o Source candidates in order to build a candidate pool for all current and future openings;
o Analyze the information provided on a prospective employee's application to determine the suitability of the applicant for employment in order to make recommendations to hiring managers;
o Support hiring managers by conducting phone and in-person interviews and assist with selection of possible new hires;
o Utilize an online interview tool to assist in talent acquisition process, including making candidate recommendations based on thoroughly screened candidates;
o Develop and implement realistic job previews for potential candidates;
o Develop creative recruiting methods (e.g. online database searches, employee referrals, social media, etc.) in order to minimize time-to-fill for positions and expand candidate pipeline;
o Support hiring managers with the following tasks once a finalist is selected: Calculate salary offer; salary negotiation process; evaluate professional reference check results; process and evaluate criminal background check results; draft offer letters;
o Meet with hiring managers regularly to provide updates on status of filling open positions and discuss future openings in order to develop a priorities list;
o Process background checks.
o Identify key external organizations (e.g. colleges/universities, Teach for America, Job Corp, etc.) to build a pipeline of candidates for positions or internships with the organization;
o Present virtual and in-person information sessions to prospective employees;
o Attend job fairs to recruit prospective employees; and
o Other duties as assigned.
Requirements o 2-4 years of recruiting experience
o Bachelor's degree preferred. However, will take experience in lieu of degree
o Strong experience in IT recruiting strongly preferred
o Strong written and verbal communication skills
o Ability to work in a face-paced; high volume recruiting environment
o Strong organization and time management skills
o Creative, innovative thinker
o Strong technology skills, especially using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
o Some travel required to attend job fairs

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
