Job Summary
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Production Supervisor shall oversee the assigned manufacturing operations within Nelson Global Products. The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a Safe work environment, effectively manage resources employees, material, methods and machinery, additionally, the supervisor is responsible for improving processes by identifying and eliminating waste.

Essential Job Functions
Establish and promote a Safe work environment. The Supervisor will train all personnel in the practices of Safety, hazard identification and elimination of issues identified as potential safety hazards.
Develop and maintain an environment conducive to producing a Quality product. The Supervisor will be responsible for the training of subordinates in the processes and procedures required generating Quality components. The Supervisor will also be held accountable for production Scrap and Rework, inclusive of nonconforming product review and developing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. TS16949 knowledge is required.
Promoting an efficient manufacturing environment. The Supervisor will be responsible for production schedule compliance, meeting Customer delivery expectations and controlling financial expenditures within the respective area of responsibility. Monthly reviews will provide Supervision with the opportunity to communicate the departmental performances, to both management and shop floor personnel. Results will be posted in the factory.
Developing personnel within Nelson Global Products. The Supervisor, in conjunction with Human Resources, will provide an opportunity for each employee to become a greater asset to the organization. Cross training within cells, work groups and departments will be a requirement; with documented training levels formalized in accordance with TS16949 (or related) procedure.
Supervision will perform employee evaluations and mentor subordinates accordingly.
Supervision will assist in the development and implementation of an automated resource utilization process. Manpower planning and work center utilization will be the focal point of the process.
Supervisor will practice and enforce lean manufacturing concepts throughout the plant by Mentoring employees in utilizing best manufacturing practices.
Performs other essential duties as required.

Job Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree in Supervision, Engineering, Business or related field and five years prior supervisory experience is required. A high school graduate, with a minimum of 10 years supervisory experience will be considered for the position.
Related experience in tube forming, fabrication, welding, brazing or bending is beneficial.
Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills (both verbal and written) are a requirement.
Problem solving, team building and coaching characteristics are preferred skills sets.
Candidate must be proficient in
computer
operations, inclusive of spreadsheets and word processing.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
