PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
1. Build next-generation web applications with a focus on the client side.
2. Redesign and implement new UI's.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO PERFORM THIS JOB):
1. 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
2. Significant development experience in a lower level language (Java).
3. User Interface design knowledge.
4. Experience with Responsive Web Design (RWD) techniques.
5. Expert HTML, JavaScript, and CSS Skills.
6. Extensive experience in AngularJS and/or other JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Backbone.js, GWT, JavaScript MVC, Closure, etc.).
7. Experience with Grunt / LESS.
8. Deep experience designing modular, object-oriented JavaScript.
9. Working experience with unit-testing or TDD using various frameworks.
10. Demonstrated ability to working closely with design, turning concepts into web applications.
11. Terrific team player, dedicated to quality-oriented practices like code reviews and pair programming.
12. Experience with agile methodologies.
13. Experience with performance optimization and complex debugging in JavaScript.
14. Experience with server-side web frameworks such as JSP, PHP, or Python.
15. Excellent communication skills.
PREFERRED:
1. Experience with high volume, high traffic, and consumer facing portals.
