Omni Resources just announced an exciting full-time openings for a senior Software Development Engineer in a full-time / direct hire
position
(contract opportunities also available) with our outstanding client located in Madison, WI.
The successful candidate should possess strong problem solving skills and be able to work both independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision. This position requires thorough knowledge of modern software development processes, methodologies, and development tools, with experience applying them to large software development projects. Candidate will be expected to elicit and refine requirements, design, develop, and unit test complex Java code, and integrate into software/system architectures. Candidate must also be able to rapidly analyze and understand new tools and technologies and integrate them into existing products and processes. Candidate will also be expected to provide software support to a large application currently in production.
For consideration you must have a minimum of five years' experience with Java software development. Other required skills include: SQL, Web
services
, SOAP, REST, Multi-Tier Architecture, JUnit, and Hibernate.
Desired skills include: Wicket, Guice, JavaScript, JSON, MySql, JQuery, AJAZ, UNIX/Linux, Tomcat, THML5, CSS, SubVersion, Hudson, Jenkins, Mule, and Ivy.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
