Project Summary and Position Overview (A detailed description of the project and what the position entails must be included):
This position is responsible for supporting 400
Windows Server based systems. The servers are used to provide multiple products to Wealth Management customers. This role will require a strict adherence to best practices as our systems are required to be highly available, scalable, and secure. This role will require close coordination and partnership with the several organizations in Technology Operations and business unit teams to ensure all objectives are accomplished in a cost effective and seamless manner with well defined processes and standards.
A focus on system availability, reliability, and maintainability is critical for success of the client's business.

Essential Day-to-Day
Responsibilities:
o Installation and administration of Windows 2008, and 2003 Servers; administration of Windows Server and SQL clustering environments using industry tools and best practices. Diagnose and
repair
hardware and software related issues.
o System upgrades such as firmware, OS, application, and security patch evaluation and deployment using Patchlink, Windows Software Update
services
, IBM Director, Anti Virus software suites, and manual processes.
o Ability to manage Microsoft IIS, FTP, SQL Server, and various vendor and homegrown applications in a load balanced environment.
o Administer local and storage area network disk. Tasks include storage provisioning and file system management.
o Administer and/or troubleshoot Active Directory and related environments such as WINS, DNS, file shares and folder permissioning, user account maintenance, and group policy, as well as server performance tuning.
o Maintain security and process awareness and work to increase compliancy when needed. (Experience with ISO, SAS70, and SOX policies and frameworks preferred)
o Participate in off hours on call rotation.
Additional Information (e.g. shift resource, % work that is development vs. maintenance, etc.):
This position will work primarly Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM. Occasional evening and weekend support is required.
Qualification:
Education:
Minimum Associates degree in
computer
Science is preferred.
Required Skills (Must have), Necessary industry experience and associated number of years of
Experience:
o 5-7 years experience with Microsoft operating systems, services, and backoffice products.
o 5-7 years experience with supporting various server based software applications.
o 5-7 years experience with multiple vendor server hardware, including IBM, HP, and EMC.
o Strong understanding of networking principles, including DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP.
o Solid understanding of SAN components using vendor tool sets.
o Solid understanding of virtualization technologies.
o Understanding of relational databases.
o Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of management and team peers.

Experience:
Preferrence will be given to those candidates who possess the above skills and work experience within the financial industry.
Any Certifications Required:
MCSE Certification is a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
