The Director, Commercial Insights is a key commercial
position
with the Treato organization. This position serves as the primary point of contact for all client-facing Treato deliverables and commercial offerings insights. Working directly with the CCO, SVP Product Strategy & Alliances, SVP Sales and all sales personnel, this position is responsible for defining and driving the Treato commercial insights within Pharma clients. Inclusive of this role is the necessity to serve as the bridge between client business needs and internal Treato fulfillment resources. Given the start-up nature of the Treato organization, this position requires the wearing of many hats as well as a strong client-centric leader who can discern and dissect client needs and translate them into meaningful deliverables.
Main
Responsibilities:
1. Commercial Insights
Define, manage, and produce custom client reporting deliverables for commercial product offerings
Liaison with product management, and internal data resources to make supporting data accessible for commercial use
Fulfilling commercial ad hoc and in-depth report requests, including more strategic requests often taking more than 50 man hours and occurring over the course of several weeks and months - ex. Pricing/value-proposition models to support go/no-go decisions on product portfolio
Sales and marketing request fulfillment - creating case studies and data points for sales & marketing activities
Client advisory support - marketing program measurement, best practices
Commercial sales ad-hoc analytics requests (including defining scope of deliverable for pricing considerations)
Business development & alliances ad hoc and in-depth requests - Create value-proposition models that assist partnership and business development opportunities

2. Sales Solutions Design (Sales Engineer)
Commercial client presales consulting/strategic solutions support - product and target mix to meet defined outcomes / goals
Support commercial sales ad-hoc reporting requests, including presales presentations
Client facing point of contact specific to general analytics (consultation and deliverables) and product/service capabilities
Within the Treato team selling approach, provide analytic consultation and leadership to sell offerings that align with client business, customer and brand goals
Assist in writing detailed proposals; craft compelling presentations; and deliver strategic impact briefings or results reports to clients that foster our relationships and lead to repeat business
3. 3rd Party Data Sharing
Acting as an external-facing authority on Treato data - serving as a bridge between our clients (both B2B and Alliance/Partnership) and Treato technical resources
Managing internal and external client meetings and ensuring timeliness and quality of client deliverables (e.g., 3rd party data and reporting deliverables)
Creating and managing custom client and standard Treato processes, policies, and procedures for 3rd party data sharing (both one-off and ongoing data sharing processes)
Requirements:
BS degree or equivalent, Advanced degree preferred
Experience working directly with Pharma clients, preferably in an advisory role
In depth understanding and familiarity with US Pharma commercial business practices/needs
Pharma vendor experience - selling / marketing /servicing directly to Pharma purchasing decision makers
Personal Skills:
Strong project management skills, able to implement multiple projects simultaneously within time and budget constraints
Excellent data driven mentality and analysis skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate research results and conclusions in written reports and presentations
Excellent interpersonal skills and capability to build productive relationships across the business as well as with external clients and users
Strong client facing and consultative skills
Ability to work in a dynamic start-up environment - across multiple continents
Calm disposition under pressureEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
