The Regional Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of sales strategies and plans to maintain and grow the established business within a region, develop incremental growth within specific assigned accounts, meet or exceed annual sales goals (both Revenue and NBO), and grow customer share. The individual is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships at assigned accounts and engaging with the sales channel to ensure effective and efficient utilization of resources, including sales representatives, PLD's, Engineering, and Customer Service. Implement and measure all sales metrics to ensure growth.

Responsibilities
Call on assigned accounts and identify technical value where company capabilities can provide solutions, identify new business opportunities (NBO), grow/maintain established business and close new orders.
Update customers on new products and technology as related to customer needs.
Drive revenue growth through coordinating opportunities with Product Line Directors for new product introductions (NPI).
Coordinate the appropriate resources (internally and externally) to resolve problems involving pricing, product specifications, warranties, terms and conditions and product modifications/change notices.
Understand customer's business model, technology roadmap and internal process for vendor status and acceptance, recognize technology opportunities within applications, manage sales process through the specification of products and coordinate the acquisition of the sale worldwide upon design win.
Maintain accurate assessment of target and opportunity funnel within the CRM system. Manage all sales activities through CRM.
Identifies qualified new business opportunities based on finding solutions for the customer. Utilizes resources to isolate customer's problems, associate a solution through differentiation of product offering and engagement to win.
Engages resources necessary to close technical/commercial issues to resolution.
Works with manufacturing reps to prioritize new business opportunities (NBO's).

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience is required. A degree in business, engineering, or related technical field is preferred.
Strongly prefer sensing and controls
electronics
experience or closely related knowledge.
Minimum of 3-5 years related experience in technical sales is required.
Strong knowledge of or prior experience within the automotive industry including OEM and Tier 1 familiarity.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
