Responsibilities:
Technical skills:
Minimum 4 - 5 years working knowledge of Enterprise-class Storage from EMC
Exposure on, CLARiiON, SnapView and MirrorView
Working knowledge of Enterprise-class Fiber Switch/Director Hardware from Cisco, Brocade, or McData required
Hands-on Experience with Veritas, LVM , Powerpath Multipathing
Strong Storage concepts on LUN mapping/creation, F/C Switch Configs
Unix and/or Windows systems administration experience
File System and Database Familiarity
Should be familiar with ITIL processes
Should have minimum 7 - 8 years overall IT Experience
Responsibilities:
Provide day to day global operational activities for Storage and Backup/Recovery teams including administering storage array architecture, SAN infrastructure, Network Attached Storage (NAS), Enterprise Backup/Restore, Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM) and Archival and Retrieval
Perform all chargeback estimation, provisioning, and documentation tasks in a timely manner
Produce regular reports for management, to assist in cost recovery, capacity planning and consolidation
Assist in Data centre consolidation efforts
Perform H/W & performance monitoring and maintenance

Experience:
Excellent communication skills: Must have strong verbal, oral and written communication skills .
Should be good at building trust-relationships and work with business side, other technology groups and teams overseas.
Ability to work independently without supervision
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
