Our client is currently seeking a Director of Admissions. The Director of Admissions (undergraduate and graduate programs) manages the day-to-day operations and work-flow of the Office of Admissions. The Director has primary responsibility for applications, statistics, admissions communications. This position reports to the Vice President of Operations. This is a new position at the college.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Supervises and manages day-to-day operations and work flow of the Office of Admissions.
Oversees and administers the admissions cycle and application review process of undergraduate and graduate applications including first-time applicants, transfer, visitor, and guest applicants. Maintains a comprehensive analysis of the application pool.
Reviews admissions files and makes recommendations as to admissions and scholarship decisions.
Serves as the primary reporting officer, and prepares all admissions statistical reports for internal and external needs.
Develops and oversees dissemination of all digital and traditional communications to assist in recruitment and retention efforts for the office of admissions including mass mailings of our printed materials, invitations, announcements, all email notifications, social media communications, outreach, top feeder schools,among others.
Serves as the staff liaison to the Admissions Committee as well as the point person for committee review related questions.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Graduate degree.
Five (5) years progressive admissions counseling or academic advising experience
Three (3) years of experience at a direct management of recruitment, training, and professional development of staff.
Understanding of university structure a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of Admissions/student recruiting best practices.
Must have experience using large Student Management System (Banner, CampusVue, etc.)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound judgments about student's admissions based upon comparisons and interpretations.
Ability to establish goals, structures, and processes necessary to implement a mission and strategic vision.
Leadership, coaching, and teambuilding skills to strengthen and cultivate relationships.
Excellent
computer
skills to include automated student information systems.
Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, tact and diplomacy in a highly confidential and professional setting.
Consultation and change management skills.
Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office(Outlook, Word & Excel)
SALARY
$70,000 - $90,000Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
